The Crawford County Road Commission shall receive sealed bids at their offices at 500 Huron St.., Grayling, Michigan 49738 until 4:00 p.m., on September 19, 2019 at which time and place they will forwarded to the Michigan Department of Transportation for approval and award. For furnishing the following labor and equipment rental for the following for working with the Michigan Department of Transportation’s bridge repair crew in various locations throughout Northern Michigan.
Maximum of eight (8) concrete labors with bridge experience for 40 hours per week (Monday – Thursday) 6:00AM to 4:30pm
(1) 375 CFM high output air compressor
(3) 60lb jack hammers
(3) sets of concrete hand finish tools
$500,000 liability insurance each occurrence
Starting, October 1, 2019. Contract amount is not to exceed $499,000.00 and will terminate when that amount has been expended.
Bid will include all labor, benefits and equipment. Bidder shall indicate labor rate for regular hours and labor rate for overtime hours.
All bids must bear bidder’s name and name of equipment or services bid plainly marked on the outside of an opaque envelope.
The Crawford County Board of Road Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive any defects or irregularities, and to make an award deemed, in their opinion, to be in the best interest of the Crawford County Road Commission.
